Jane Lloyd

Accreditation Manager
Jane joined the ANLP in July 2011 as Accreditation Manager. She is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD) and founder member of Learning Matters 2 Me – the Learning & Development Group of the CIPD’s Milton Keynes Branch. A fervent supporter of Small Businesses, for four years Jane was also Vice Chair of the Federation of Small Businesses, North Bucks Branch.
Jane’s early career saw her undertaking a variety of roles within both Public and Private Sector organisations until she eventually discovered her passion for developing people in 1997. In July 2000, Jane decided it was time to spread her wings and set up her own training company Amaranth Consulting Ltd. In 2001, Amaranth became an Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM) Accredited Training Centre and continued to be so for 8 years. During that time, she also worked on a freelance basis as an External Verifier for the ILM. This involved quality assurance of accredited training programmes as well as supporting centres to develop their training provision. Jane was also a member of the focus group which contributed to the development of the ILM’s Leadership Qualifications.
During 2009 Jane experienced a number of personal and professional events which were to change her life forever! Discovering NLP and achieving NLP Practitioner was just two of these things and has led a commitment to spend her time finding her bliss! Her NLP work has uncovered a ‘natural voice for hypnotherapy’ and, rather than worrying that she’s sending people to sleep, Jane is making the most of it by studying for a Diploma in Clinical and Transpersonal Hypnotherapy.
Being a life-long learner, Jane is passionate about quality training provision. This, combined with her previous experience; and the opportunity to work with the inspirational personalities in the NLP Community, mean that she feels she’s finally found the perfect job!
Away from work, Jane loves being outdoors and is a volunteer youth leader for the RSPB, a conservation worker on a nature reserve and also supports people with learning disabilities. In 2010 she challenged herself by back-packing around South East Asia for six weeks on her own, visiting five different countries. It was such a fantastic experience that she is currently trying to decide whether to visit Nepal or Mongolia next!
